Product Description
The Roadmaster 048-10 is a heavy-duty Hi-Low receiver hitch with a 10-inch drop or rise, rated at 10,000 lb. It slides into the motorhome's 2-inch receiver and provides a 2-inch receiver opening that's moved up or down, so you can bring the tow bar close to level when there's a large height difference between the motorhome hitch and the towed vehicle. A level tow bar helps reduce wander and tail wag and makes for more stable towing.
The shank can be installed facing up or down for a rise or a drop. The 048 series uses a solid-steel shank, which is what allows its 10,000 lb capacity and 400 lb tongue weight rating. At 10 inches, this is the largest size in the series.
