Product Description

The Roadmaster 452109-30 is a replacement breakaway cable for the Roadmaster InvisiBrake supplemental braking system. The breakaway cable links the InvisiBrake breakaway switch in the towed vehicle to the motorhome, so that if the towed vehicle ever separates from the motorhome, the cable pulls the switch and the system applies the towed vehicle's brakes.

Replace the cable if it is frayed, kinked or damaged, and check it as part of your pre-trip hookup.

Compatibility

  • Roadmaster InvisiBrake supplemental braking system

Compare your existing cable to the product photo, or contact us with your InvisiBrake model before ordering.

Pro tipSupplemental braking: what to know

  • Often required by law. Most U.S. states and Canadian provinces require brakes on a towed vehicle above a certain weight, and towing equipment makers generally expect one.
  • Match your motorhome. Some systems are designed for coaches with air brakes and others for hydraulic brakes — check which your RV has.
  • Portable vs. permanently installed. Portable units move between cars; installed systems are quicker to hook up day to day.
