Product Description
The Roadmaster 24238 is a Comfort Ride shock absorber kit for tandem-axle trailers with 2-3/8-inch-diameter axles. Because a trailer rides on leaf springs, it tends to rock from side to side; Comfort Ride shocks are mounted at a 15-degree inward angle to absorb that energy and calm the rocking, for a smoother ride and more control from the tow vehicle.
The kit includes four nitrogen-charged shocks with eye mounts and the mounting hardware. Comfort Ride shocks can be installed on their own or together with the Comfort Ride slipper spring system.
