Product Description
The Roadmaster 1644 is a Flexo-Coil coiled electrical cable that carries the lighting signals from the motorhome to the towed vehicle. It has a 4-wire round plug on each end and connects a 4-round socket on the motorhome to a 4-round socket on the towed vehicle, so the towed vehicle's tail, turn and brake lights work along with the motorhome's. The coiled design expands to more than 8 feet while driving and contracts for storage, keeping the cable off the ground between vehicles.
Use it as a new or replacement cord for a 4-wire towed vehicle wiring setup. The wires are water-, oil- and chemical-resistant, and the plugs are injected with silicone to help prevent corrosion.
Compatibility
- 4-round to 4-round connections (motorhome and towed vehicle both with 4-pole round sockets)
Connector styles vary. Check that both your motorhome and towed vehicle use 4-pole round sockets, or contact us before ordering.

Pro tipWiring and battery tips
- Protect the car’s wiring. Diodes or a separate bulb kit keep the motorhome’s lighting signal from feeding back into the towed vehicle’s electrical system.
- Watch the battery. Some vehicles drain their battery when flat towed; the owner’s manual will say whether you need a charge line or battery disconnect.
