Product Description
The Demco 15945 is a zinc-plated EZ Latch straight-tongue trailer coupler for a 2-inch hitch ball, rated for 7,000 lbs. It bolts onto a 3-inch-wide channel tongue. The EZ Latch locks automatically when the coupler is dropped onto the ball, the latch is built in so it can't be lost or misplaced, and it needs no grease or adjustment. Demco states the EZ Latch meets SAE J684 coupler requirements.
Always make sure the hitch ball, mounting bolts and tow vehicle hitch are rated for the trailer's weight; the setup is only as strong as its lowest-rated component.
