Product Description
The Demco 14040-95 is a cast EZ Latch channel-mount trailer coupler for a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball, rated for 21,000 lbs. It bolts into a 3-inch channel on a straight trailer tongue, and when used with an adjustable channel bracket it lets you set the coupler height for different tow vehicles. The EZ Latch snaps closed automatically when the coupler is dropped over the ball, and the composite latch handle resists corrosion and impact.
The channel bracket and mounting bolts are not included. Make sure the hitch ball, channel, bolts and tow vehicle hitch are all rated for your trailer's weight; the setup is only as strong as its lowest-rated component.
