Product Description

The Demco 13582-81 is a single replacement attachment tab for Demco tabless base plates, including DM9511010, DM9511010-BX, DM9511012 and DM9511012-BX. On a Demco tabless base plate, the attachment tabs connect the tow bar to the base plate when you hook up and come off with the tow bar when you unhook, so nothing sticks out from the front of the vehicle. Replace a lost or damaged tab with the correct part.

  • Match year, make, model and trim. Base plates are vehicle-specific, and trims with adaptive cruise, front sensors or a different bumper often need a different plate.
  • Confirm your vehicle can be flat towed. Check the “recreational towing” section of the owner’s manual — not every car, transmission or drivetrain can be towed four-down.
  • Mixing brands needs an adapter. Base plate and tow bar brands use different connection styles (for example, a Blue Ox base plate with a Roadmaster tow bar). We’ll tell you exactly which adapter you need.
