Product Description
The Demco 05557-95 is a zinc-plated steel channel-mount trailer coupler for a 2-5/16-inch hitch ball, rated for 12,500 lbs. It uses Demco's Slide-Lok latch, a positive locking latch that slides over the ball to secure the coupler, with a latch pin to keep it closed. The coupler bolts into a 3-inch channel bracket on a straight trailer tongue.
The channel bracket and mounting hardware are not included. Always make sure the hitch ball, channel, bolts and tow vehicle hitch are all rated for the trailer's weight; the setup is only as strong as its lowest-rated component.
