How to Choose the Correct Hitch Ball
A. Ball & Coupler Size

Match the hitch ball size to your coupler, commonly: 1-7/8", 2", or 2-5/16".
B. Gross Trailer Weight (GTW)

Select a hitch ball that meets or exceeds the trailer’s GTW rating.
C. Shank to Platform Fit

Ensure the shank is long enough that at least two threads extend past the nut and lock washer when installed.
D. Hole Size

Match the shank diameter to the platform hole:
