roadmaster-receiver-hitch-2-inch-048-10-10-000lbs
Roadmaster Receiver Hitch 2 Inch 048-10 (10,000lbs)

The Roadmaster 048-10 is a heavy-duty Hi-Low receiver hitch with a 10-inch drop or rise, rated at 10,000 lb. It slides into the motorhome's 2-inch receiver and provides a 2-inch receiver opening that's moved up or down, so you can bring the tow bar close to level when there's a large height difference between the motorhome hitch and the towed vehicle. A level tow bar helps reduce wander and tail wag and makes for more stable towing.

The shank can be installed facing up or down for a rise or a drop. The 048 series uses a solid-steel shank, which is what allows its 10,000 lb capacity and 400 lb tongue weight rating. At 10 inches, this is the largest size in the series.

Safety note: the listing data describes this hitch as only for towing a car behind a motorhome, not for use with any type of trailer.

Specifications

Manufacturer: Roadmaster

Part number: 048-10

Type: Hi-Low receiver hitch (drop/rise)

Drop/rise: 10 inches

Receiver size: Fits 2-inch receivers; provides a 2-inch receiver opening

Capacity: 10,000 lb

Maximum tongue weight: 400 lb

Material: Steel, solid-steel shank

Finish: Black powder coat

Warranty: Roadmaster lists a limited 1-year warranty

Helpful Links

Drop hitches & ball mounts

Receiver adapters & reducers

DIY flat towing setup guide

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0741/3851/7755/files/RoadmasterReceiverHitch2Inch048-10_10_000lbs_Copy.jpg?v=1750877864
