A base plate mounts to the towed vehicle's frame behind the front bumper and gives a motorhome-mounted tow bar a strong, vehicle-specific attachment point for flat towing. The tow bar connects directly to the twist-lock tabs, which can be removed when you're not towing.

To complete a flat-towing setup, pair the base plate with a compatible tow bar, safety cables, a towed-vehicle wiring kit and a supplemental braking system. Before flat towing, confirm in your owner's manual that your Equinox's drivetrain can be flat towed and follow its towing procedure.

Compatibility

2018–2019 Chevrolet Equinox, front-wheel drive

Fitment can vary by drivetrain, trim and options.
