A base plate mounts to the towed vehicle's frame behind the front bumper and gives the tow bar a strong, vehicle-specific attachment point for flat towing. The visible front portion of the bracket can be easily removed from the front of the vehicle when you're not towing.

The bracket consists of a main receiver brace, two rear braces, two removable front braces and a hardware pack. The main receiver brace mounts to the frame rails and rear braces, and the removable front braces install into the main receiver brace. Installation note from the manufacturer: some trimming of the bumper (fascia, plastic and grille) is required. Choose this EZ4 kit if your tow bar or towing accessory requires a crossbar; for direct connection, see the 523179-5.

Compatibility

2016–2020 GMC Yukon with adaptive cruise control

2017–2020 Chevrolet Tahoe with adaptive cruise control

For use with tow bars and accessories that require a crossbar

Roadmaster makes separate kits for these vehicles with and without adaptive cruise control and for certain packages.
