A base plate mounts to the towed vehicle's frame behind the front bumper and gives the tow bar a strong, vehicle-specific attachment point for flat towing. With the crossbar style, a removable crossbar attaches to the base plate's removable tabs and the tow bar connects to the crossbar.

Installation notes from the manufacturer: some trimming of the bumper (fascia, plastic and grille) and of the air dam is required, and special tools are needed (see the installation instructions). Choose this EZ4 kit if your tow bar or towing accessory requires a crossbar; for direct connection, see the 521440-5.

Compatibility

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK (without tow hooks, without brush guard)

For use with tow bars and accessories that require a crossbar

Fitment can vary by trim, bumper and options.
