roadmaster-4700-roadmaster-14-6429-towed-vehicle-shield
Roadmaster Towed Vehicle Shield – Tow Defender, Mounts To Tow Bar, Roll-Up | 4700

The Roadmaster 4700 Tow Defender is a roll-up protective screen that mounts to the tow bar and spans the gap between the motorhome and the towed vehicle. Its heavy-duty, all-weather screen deflects rocks, gravel and road debris down and away, helping protect the towed vehicle's finish, headlights and windshield from chips and dings.

The vinyl-coated mesh lets air pass through, so the screen stays low over the road. Fully extended, it covers 20 square feet and is held in place by shock-absorbing gas struts. When you arrive, roll it up, secure each end with the elastic straps and store it against the motorhome. Rolled up, it's about four inches in diameter.

Compatibility

Mounts to the tow bar

The 4700 is the Tow Defender version for setups using crossbar-style base plates

Roadmaster offers two Tow Defender versions (4700 and 4750) for different base plate styles.
