demco-9511012-commander-2-tow-bar
Demco 9511012 Commander 2™ Tow Bar

The Demco 9511012 Commander 2™ is a motorhome-mounted (receiver-mount) tow bar for flat towing a car or small SUV behind an RV. It is rated for 6,000 lb, mounts in a 2" x 2" receiver on the motorhome, and connects to a base plate on the towed vehicle. It is built from steel with an E-coat finish and weighs about 41 lb.

The self-supporting, independent arms telescope and move separately, which makes hookup easier because the motorhome doesn't have to be perfectly lined up with the towed vehicle. Demco's non-binding trigger release helps you unhook without fighting a bound-up arm. A built-in 1-1/2" rise/drop plus a tilting head helps match the hitch height to the base plate, and the arms swing to either side for storage on the motorhome.

Compatibility

Fits Demco base plates directly

Blue Ox, Roadmaster, Reese and Duncan base plates with the matching Demco adapter, sold separately

2" x 2" receiver hitch on the motorhome

Never exceed the lowest rating in your towing setup (motorhome hitch, tow bar, base plate or safety cables).
