It bolts into a 3-inch channel on a straight trailer tongue, and when used with an adjustable channel bracket it lets you set the coupler height for different tow vehicles. The EZ Latch snaps closed automatically when the coupler is dropped over the ball, and the composite latch handle resists corrosion and impact.

The channel bracket and mounting bolts are not included. Make sure the hitch ball, channel, bolts and tow vehicle hitch are all rated for your trailer's weight; the setup is only as strong as its lowest-rated component.

Compatibility

2-5/16-inch hitch balls

3-inch channel brackets on straight trailer tongues

Measure your trailer's channel and check its bolt-hole spacing before ordering, or contact us with your trailer details.

Specifications

Manufacturer: Demco

Part number: 14040-95

Capacity: 21,000 lbs

Ball size: 2-5/16 inch

Mount: Bolt-on, 3-inch channel

Latch: EZ Latch, automatic, composite handle

Construction: Cast steel

Finish: Zinc plated

Estimated install time: About 30 minutes

Made in: USA

Helpful Links

Demco 14040-81 black version

Trailer couplers

Hitch balls

Shipping & Availability

In stock and ready to ship.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0741/3851/7755/files/ImageServerAPI_f9f0548a-886f-4dff-8027-6fe771acaee5.jpg?v=1793132532
