The channel is the mounting bracket that a channel-mount coupler, lunette ring or clevis bolts into; its five positions let you set the coupler height to match your tow vehicle so the trailer rides level. It is rated for 12,000 lbs.

This is the channel bracket only. The coupler and mounting bolts are sold separately, and this version does not have a jack hole. Make sure every component in your setup, including the coupler, bolts and hitch, is rated for your trailer's weight; the setup is only as strong as its lowest-rated part.

Compatibility

3-inch-wide trailer tongues (bolt-on)

Channel-mount couplers, lunette rings or clevises (sold separately)

Measure your trailer tongue before ordering, or contact us with your trailer details so we can help match a coupler.

Specifications

Manufacturer: Demco

Part number: 13867-95

Type: Adjustable channel bracket

Positions: 5

Capacity: 12,000 lbs

Tongue width: 3 inches

Jack hole: No

Material: Steel

Estimated install time: About 30 minutes

Helpful Links

Demco 05557-95 channel-mount coupler

Trailer couplers

Shipping & Availability

In stock and ready to ship.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0741/3851/7755/files/ImageServerAPI_4e1c6653-750f-43f6-9497-1a751ee5941b.jpg?v=1793132529
